Remote switching and restarting over a telephone line.
Fig. The device.
The device is intended for switching up to two appliances on and off over an analogue telephone line using DTMF codes, and for control through commands sent over a serial interface. Either a USB port or RS485 can serve as that serial interface. The port is also used to configure the behaviour of the device.
Two relays rated at 2 A / 120 V AC and 2 A / 24 V DC are used as the switching elements. The switched voltage is at most 24 V DC or 125 V AC. Screw terminals are provided for connecting the controlled signals.

Applications: 1. Remote restart of network equipment. 2. Remote lighting control. 3. Remote starting of network or access services on servers. Among other things the module works with the RGBW LED controller.
